The Sony Ericsson MS500 is a nice, handy wireless Bluetooth loudspeaker designed for outdoor use. The MS500 is splash resistant, which comes in pretty handy for a gadget that is to be used in the open. It is
made of plastic and comes in two colors schemes – black-orange and white-pink. It uses 2 x AA batteries (not included).
The slightly flattened, oval shape of the MS500 makes it really comfy to hold in your hand, but it also comes with a hand strap, so you can have it dangling if you hang it onto your wrist, bike, belt or rucksack

The MS500 sports just one button,
power on and you need to hold it pressed for a few seconds so as to activate the pairing mode. It´s this simple. The Sony Ericsson MS500 plays music flawlessly, provided you stay close and within

To pair the speaker with a phone:
Place the phone within 20 cm (8 inches) from the speaker. Make sure the speaker is turned off.
Press and hold down the on/off key until the speaker enters pairing mode and the indicator light flashes green and blue.
In the phone: Search for and add the speaker as a new Bluetooth™ device. The speaker passcode is 0000.
A flashing blue light indicates successful pairing. A constant blue light indicates that the speaker is connected to the phone.
Note:
The speaker enters idle mode if you do not pair it with a phone within 5 minutes. Also, 10 different phones can be paired with the speaker simultaneously. If an eleventh phone is paired with the speaker, it replaces the phone that has been inactive for the longest time.
FAQs:
When the speaker is paired with the phone, you can listen to music as long as the speaker is within 10 metres (33 feet) of the phone. Objects, walls and a greater distance than five metres (16.5 feet) can affect the sound.
The volume can only be adjusted from the phone.
Select to play a track in the phone. The speaker automatically reconnects to the last paired phone and the music will start to play through the speaker. A constant blue light indicates that the speaker is connected to a phone.
To listen to music: Pair the phone with the speaker and select to play a track in the phone. The music is now played through the speaker.
Note:
The music can only be controlled from the phone.
This speaker is powered with two AA 1.5 V batteries. When the battery level is low, the indicator light flashes red. You need to replace the old AA 1.5 V batteries with new ones.
Note:
Do not use different types of batteries together. Do not mix new batteries with old ones.
If you would like to take an incoming call while playing music, the music will automatically stop playing when someone is calling your phone. You can answer your phone as usual. When you end the call, the music will start to play again.
